Frequently people ask me who are my references and inspirations as a designer and illustrator, and they get surprised to hear that half of my list is composed of cinema directors or producers.
What a musician does with the instruments, a writer on a book or a script, a photographer with the camera or what a designer does with a pencil or a computer can be very different things, but they all have the same purpose: to make the observer feel something.
